About Maleeha Ahmad, MD

Dr Ahmad is a transatlantic Neurosurgeon with expertise in general Neurosurgery, brain and spinal tumors and stereotactic radiosurgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of the United Kingdom since 2014.

Dr Ahmad was most recently Faculty at Stanford University, where she developed her expertise in Stereotactic Radiosurgery and further in Neurosurgical Oncology at the Stanford CyberKnife Center. Dr Ahmad was previously an Attending at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is the proud recipient of two Fellowships in Neurosurgical Oncology from Geisinger Medical Center and Skull Base Neurosurgery from Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr Ahmad graduated with Distinction from her alma mater of the University of Southampton School of Medicine in England, UK and went on to complete her residency with the Yorkshire and Humber School of Surgery in Neurosurgery in 2014.

Dr Ahmad is the distinguished author of multiple books in Neurosurgery, she holds Editor positions with international Neurosurgical journals and has led global, regional and hospital collaborative academic efforts and clinical trials. She will be bringing elements of artificial intelligence and increasingly hybrid surgical options to her Neurosurgical repertoire.
